Week 12 NFL Survivor Pool Picks: Official Predictions from Former Winners

$60 in Free Picks

It has been chalk city in NFL Survivor Pools the last couple weeks. The favorites have mostly taken care of business, and any upsets that have happened have been mostly against teams that have long since been used for NFL Survivor Pool picks.

This week I was really going back and forth between the Bills and Saints for my Week 12 pick. I decided to take the Bills as the Rams are a team that has tripped me up in the past with upsets. I think both teams will win, however.

For the remainder of the season, myself and SurvivorPoolPicks.com co-founder Kyle McCarthy will provide one big favorite, one under-the-radar team and one team to stay away from for each week of the NFL season through Week 17.

We have a great deal for our readers this week. You can get $60 worth of free picks from, in our opinion, the best sports handicapping site on the net. Doc’s has been handicapping for 45 years and they have stood the test of time. They are offering this no-hassle offer for our readers. Click here to take advantage today.

Week 12 NFL Survivor Pool Picks

Jeremy Martin

Best Big Favorite

Buffalo vs. Jacksonville: The Jags are one of my top fade teams down the stretch of the season. This is a revenge spot for the Bills, who lost on a close one in Florida last year in kind of a fluky result. It looks like LeSean McCoy will play this week, and that was the determining factor for me to take Buffalo for Week 12.

Under-the-Radar Pick

Detroit vs. Minnesota: This is a bit riskier play, but I like the Lions to prevail on Thanksgiving. Minnesota is just a mess now after their hot start, and this team has no running game and not much offense at all. Detroit has won three straight on Thanksgiving and has outscored opponents 119-41 on Turkey Day.

Stay Away

New York Giants at Cleveland: I was considering taking the Giants for a hot minute but thankfully strayed from that idea. I just think the Browns are going to win a game this season and it will probably be at home. The Giants have played well, but all their games are close and this is a team that plays down to the competition on a regular basis.

Kyle McCarthy

Best Big Favorite

NY Giants  at Cleveland: The Giants defense has started to come together playing solid football and Eli Manning is on one of his “good Eli” streaks where he is throwing touchdowns instead of INT’s. Giants RB Jennings looks healthy and should be able to kill the clock against a weak Browns team who seems to be settling for the #1 overall pick.

Under-the-Radar Pick

Houston vs. San Diego: The Texans played well enough to win on Monday Night in Mexico City, with the Houston offense looking efficient out of the bye week but the Refs didn’t seem to want to give the Texans a break.  On the defensive side Houston DT Wilfork has returned for the Texans to help plug opposing teams running lanes and an underrated Houston secondary will make it hard on the injury-riddled San Diego receiving corps.

Stay Away

Washington at Dallas: Anything can happen in this rivalry game and Dallas is hurting a bit in the secondary with injuries to top corner Mo Claiborne and Safety Orlando Scandrick.  Redskin’s deep threat, WR Desean Jackson, has been a Cowboys killer over the years both during his time in Philadelphia and in Washington. Redskins are playing with a lot of confidence and this will be a back-and-forth game featuring two strong offenses.
