Now onto our Week 15 Super Contest Selections using the current posted Westgate SuperContest spread:

Minnesota  -4.5 over Indianapolis The Vikings have been playing with a lot of confidence lately as the defense has returned to form. Minnesota defensive strength is the secondary and should have no trouble covering the hobbled Indy WR crew.  Indianapolis has had a suspect offensive line all seasons so the aggressive Vikings D line should have no problem getting to Andrew Luck.

Washington -6.5 over Carolina All Washington Defensive Back Free Agent Prize Josh Norman wants for X-Mas is to stick to his former team that did not resign him in the offseason. Carolina has struggled in the secondary all season long and now has to cover the a talented Washington receiving crew. Carolina has also been sluggish on the offensive side. The Redskins are in the playoff hunt and finally get a home game. Take the Skins.

Tampa Bay +6.5 over Dallas  Tampa Bay can still have mental breakdowns in the secondary but they are becoming less and less as the season goes on. The Tampa Bay D Line featuring all pro Gerald McCoy has begun to get some pressure on the QB and also been playing well against the run. The Cowboys have failed to cover in their last 3 and may be starting to press just a bit. Tampa Bay is  not afraid to play with the big boys and get the cover.

Atlanta -13.5 over San Francisco If you have been reading this column you may notice I have been on Hotlanta lately. Their high powered offense has been their best defense putting pressure on opposing teams to keep pace. The 49ers are playing tough but just do not offer up enough talent to stay close to the Falcons ne the Georgia dome.

Baltimore -5.5 over Philadelphia The Ravens D has stepped up in the last weeks while the Philly D has worn down. Baltimore still controls their own destiny and is fighting for a playoff spot. This is Baltimore’s last home game of the season so expect a max effort.
