Pick No. 1

2-Unit Straight Bet

Jacksonville +3 over Tampa Bay

Many books have this line at 2.5. I like the Jags at that number and love them at +3. Jacksonville, in my eyes, is the better team here, and I think they have a great chance to win this game straight up. You can find the three at many different books, so if your book offers only 2.5 then be sure to shop around. That extra half-point onto the key number of three is crucial here.

1-Unit Straight Bet

Cleveland +7 over Baltimore

I think this line is more about the reputation of these teams and not their current state. I think this one is a very public number. Of course, the Ravens have not got off to a very strong start. 2-Unit Straight Bet

Take Washington +7 over Atlanta

The Falcons have looked really good to start the season. I have been impressed with the way Washington has played, however. I think this team is underrated and also don’t think the Falcons are as good as they have looked. Washington likes to run the ball and plays strong defense, and that is why they are an underdog team I like, especially when they are catching a touchdown or more.

1-Unit Straight Bet

Kansas City -9 over Chicago (BetOnline)

The Chiefs have burned me a lot lately. I still don’t think this team is as bad as they have looked the last few weeks. And their opponents the last three weeks are a combined 12-0. This seems like a “get right” game for KC against probably the worst team in the NFL. I see a blowout here. First time betting online? 1-Unit Straight Bet

Oakland +5.5 over Denver

The Raiders are also a team I like as an underdog play, and I think they have a real chance for the upset here. Denver just isn’t as good of a squad as they have been the last few years and Oakland is an up-and-coming team for sure. Was hoping this line would be bet up to 7 and if it does I would add another unit to this play.
